Down Payment Assistance Programs

Buying a home is a huge responsibility, but also a wonderful opportunity.  However, most people these days don't have any money, or very little, for a down payment.  There are other options available, for those California residents who qualify, to obtain that down payment and finance 100% of the purchase price.  The State of California, County of San Diego and several cities through-out San Diego County all offer down payment assistance programs to help homebuyers purchase their next home, but there are requirements that must be met for each one.  I've compiled a list below of several of the programs being offered through-out the state.  You can click on the links to research further whether you qualify, or contact me and I can put you in touch with my lender who specializes in each of them.  Most of the programs are for low-income, first-time buyers, with the exception of the CalHFA program offered through the State of California where the maximum household annual income requirement is $101,200 and you do not need to be a first-time buyer.

Programs being offered are:

State of California – CalHFA
